Cheiro also believed that if the year of birth was reduced and then added to the birth year, this would indicate a particularly important year in a person’s life. Please note that while most of the examples here are based on Pythagorean numerology, Cheiro studied Chaldean numerology and the calculation of the Vital Year Number originates from this latter school of thought.

Using the same sample birthday (22 February 1942) that we used to calculate the Date of Birth Number, let's see what this person's Vital Year will be.
